Deposit Bonus Information:
Chan Poker's standard first deposit bonus is fairly standard (20% match up to $120 in bonus). However they also offer larger bonuses (like 100% up to $500) quite often. Bonuses earn at about $7.5 per table hour at 1/2, but because it is cleared by earning points that are awarded based on the table rake, you will earn it quicker at higher limits.

Chan Poker is a smaller poker room using OnGame software.
Support are very good. For example, there was one jackass who was abusing a bad player in chat - "how could you call with that garbage", "you're going to lose all your money", you know, the sort of idiotic spouting that average players indulge in to make themselves feel like they are good. Anyway, I paged support, and mister "I'm a good player and you're paying my rent" (for the record, buddy, neither of those statements are likely to be true) got his chat shut off.
The players on the other hand are very bad (which is also a big plus). I don't know where they found them, but they've done a stunning job of attracting gamboolers. There was a relatively small shark population when I played here. This could be because CnR has been flyin relatively under the radar on the Internet (I think they mainly promote offline).
Or it may be because the no download java client looks, and runs, a little clunky. It's got a few nice features, my favourite was the "rotate table" feature, but it also suffers from all the teething problems of a new poker client, plus a possibly few extra ones because it's no-download. It's not horrible by any stretch of the imagination, just a little rough round the edges. They are working on a download version, as well as constantly improving the java client, so I expect that most of my complaints will look foolish by the time I update this review. In fact I hope that my not-great rating for the software will be wrong tomorrow.
They run some innovative promotions, like a writing contest, and some good tournaments, but the traffic just isn't there for Chan Poker to have the sheer volume of tournaments that the big sites do.
Anothr very nice feature of Chan Poker is that they offer spread limit games (like $1 - 5 spread). Just like in home games you might have played, you can bet any amount between the minimum and the maximum. Spread limit games reward aggression (if your opponents are betting the minimum and you are betting the maximum, you can profitably chase a lot more draws than they can - if you know your pot odds).
Overall, Chan Poker is a new room, trying very hard to be good. A site with support this good needs to suceed.
